The Mayan Calendar

The Mayan sacred calendar or Tzolkin wheel is a way of counting and classifying days according to the mythology and deities of the semi-ancient Meso-American peoples. It is a polyrhythm of 2 cycles: 13 tones and 20 tribes, making a pattern that repeats every 260 days.  Each day has a command code and a medicine wheel which gives insights into its unique energy signature.

I have been using the Mayan Calendar as a way into the sacred energy or essence of each day for several years now, refining my understanding over time. I experienced some confusion when I discovered that the Quiche calibration had become the accepted day count, taking over from the Dreamspell calibration. However, through diligent observation and careful attention, I have come to realise that both are 'true', the Dreamspell governing the esoteric, the Quiche the exoteric.

I have developed a series of affirmations applicable for each tone and tribe. The information encoded into these affirmations in conjunction with your personal medicine wheel is powerfully transformational when used regularly over a period of time. Through a knowledge of your own personal command and wheel, it is also possible to quickly ascertain and call up the appropriate Sacred Essence or Guardian / Guide energy for any situation you are experiencing in your life.

I can send you details of your natal Mayan Essences and appropriate affirmations for a small fee. Please contact me by email. More in depth readings will require a consultation.
